What Hypertext is..Hypertext links allow you to move from one place in a document to another place in the same document or to a place in a different document. A hypertext link can link to any place that has a URL on the Web. Another name for a hypertext link is an anchor. Anything that has an address on the web can be linked to. What is HTML?HTML is short for HyperText Markup Language. HTML was developed to markup hypertext documents for use on the Web. HTML has tags which have two parts an open and closed tag. Example: Symbols that mean something:  means this is something important that you should look at. means this is when you type this information in notepad, word processor, etc.
